THE RUNDOWN
The Ouachita Baptist men's soccer team began its 2020-21 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Harding in a non-conference contest Sunday. Freshmen
Ebon Jordan recorded a goal and an assist in the win.
The Ouachita attack was effective early in the game, creating multiple scoring opportunities before freshman
Parker Apicella found the back of the net in the 18th minute on a feed from Jordan. Jordan added the insurance tally in the 73rd with a right-footed rocket off the bottom of the crossbar with an assist from
David Stankovic.Â
Matt Day made three saves in goal.
EDIT: The assist originally attributed to Apicella has been credited to Stankovic.
