Ouachita vs. Texas Wesleyan | Ouachita vs. Williams Baptist

On a day Kevin Crutchmer intended to get his younger wrestlers some experience, Ouachita wrestling dropped a pair of dual matches Friday at the Mustang Duals hosted by Central Baptist in Conway. Ouachita fell to Texas Wesleyan 42-3 and to Williams Baptist 43-6. Freshman Noah Yeamans picked up a pair of wins at 125 pounds in his collegiate debut.

Yeamans started the day with a win over Texas Wesleyan's Issac Stalcup in a 9-4 decision. He followed that victory with a win over Williams Baptist's Sean Sesnan by a 5-2 decision in his second bout of the day. Sophomore Christian Carney also picked up a victory against Williams Baptist, defeating Gavin Wells by an 8-1 decision at 165. 

Tiger wrestling begins Great Lakes Valley Conference action Sunday, hosting Indianapolis and Drury for the first conference duals of the year for all three squads. Ouachita is scheduled to wrestle Indy at noon, followed by Drury vs. Indy and Ouachita vs. Drury.
