ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University swimming and diving teams swept Loyola of New Orleans on Saturday at home. The men's team won 109-64, and the women's team posted a 121-83 victory.

The meet was made up last minute from its originally-scheduled date of September 25. It was postponed due to the effects of the recent hurricane in south Louisiana.

On Saturday against the Wolfpack, the Tigersharks posted wins in 18 of the 24 events. With the wins, the men's team improves to 2-2 in dual meets. The women are now 2-3 with both of the wins coming this weekend.

"Today was a great team effort after a tough battle across the street last night," said Ouachita Head Coach Steven Bostick. "We swam very fast considering the tight turnaround, and it's a great precursor to the conference championships. I'm looking forward to getting some work done over the next couple of weeks as we prepare for a great Delta State squad."

Ouachita's meet against Delta State is set for Saturday, November 6.
