WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO HARDING IN OT

SEARCY, Arkansas – The Ouachita Baptist University women's soccer team was on the road for the final time of the regular season Thursday night, coming back to Arkadelphia following a 3-2 overtime loss to Harding.

Ouachita (8-6-2, 5-5-1 GAC) opened the scoring late in the first half with a goal from Jaymee Dotson in the 44th minute from the assist of Alexis Perry. It was Dotson's sixth goal of the year.

The Bisons (6-10-1, 4-6-1 GAC) equalized the score in the 60th minute and took a 2-1 lead with a goal in the 80th minute.

The Tigers punched in an equalizer off the foot of Sydni Perry in the 83rd minute, her first goal of the year. Alexis Perry was there again for the assist.

After heading to overtime, the Bisons scored quickly with a golden goal in the 92nd minute for the win. It was Ouachita's fourth overtime game of the year, and first loss in extra minutes.

The Tigers are set for their season finale this Saturday, November 6 at home against East Central. Kickoff is set for noon at Kluck Field. It will be Senior Day for Ouachita with a pair of student-athletes to honor.
