Men's Soccer Falls to SNU

THE RUNDOWN

The Ouachita Baptist men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season Tuesday in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Southern Nazarene in a Great American Conference contest. The Tigers registered five shots on goal but could not find the back of the net.

The Crimson Storm went ahead in the 37th minute and took a 1-0 lead into halftime. A pair of goals just more than two minutes apart sealed the deal for the visiting side.
 

MATCH NOTES 

  • Five of the Tigers' six shot attempts were on target Tuesday
  • Ouachita's five shots on goal were a season high
  • Matt Day's three saves brought his total for the season to 10

UP NEXT

The Tigers are back in action February 27 at Harding in a GAC contest. The two teams met in an exhibition match January 31.
