THE RUNDOWN
Ouachita Baptist women's basketball won its third straight game Thursday, defeating Arkansas-Monticello 77-51 on Senior Night at Bill Vining Arena.
Eden Crow led the way for the Tigers in her final regular season home game, putting up 23 points and eight rebounds.
Ray Osborn added a team-high nine rebounds to go along with 11 points.
A fast start in the first quarter got Ouachita off to a good start, as the home squad outscored the Cotton Blossoms 22-9 in the first 10 minutes. The Tigers made nine of 18 field goal attempts - including two of four three-pointers - over the first period.
The Tigers extended their lead in each period, outscoring UAM by three in the second, three in the third, and seven in the fourth, taking advantage of a depleted Blossom roster.
