Ouachita Baptist baseball rallied late but fell 2-1 in seven innings in the second game of a doubleheader at Oklahoma Baptist.
Blake Tubbs homered the bottom of the seventh inning to cut the lead in half, but the Bison held on for the win.
Luke Scaggs went the distance for Ouachita, limiting Oklahoma Baptist to two runs on five hits in seven innings with three strikeouts and two walks. The Tiger offense was quiet over the first six innings, managing just four hits during that span.
Tubbs led off the seventh with a solo homer, but Ouachita went down in order after cutting the lead to one.
