Ouachita Baptist men's basketball lost 68-66 to Arkansas Tech in overtime at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Saturday. The Tigers missed their last seven field goal attempts of the game as the Wonder Boys used a pair of free throws with 34 seconds remaining to go ahead for the final time.
Kendarious Smith's layup with seven seconds remaining in regulation gave the Tigers a two-point lead, but Arkansas Tech tied the game with a layup of its own with one second remaining.
The Tigers secured three offensive rebounds on one possession with a minute remaining in overtime before Smith earned a trip to the free throw line, sinking both shots to tie the game with 59 seconds remaining. After taking the lead, ATU blocked a
Deaveon Bankston jump shot to seal the victory.
