Ouachita Baptist volleyball fought back after losing the first set Tuesday, but ultimately lost 3-1 to Arkansas-Monticello at Sturgis Physical Education Center. The Tigers were dominant in a 25-11 second-set win, but the Cotton Blossoms won the third and fourth sets to come away with the victory.
After UAM won the first set 25-17, Ouachita stormed back to tie the match in the second. The Tigers took five of the first six points and nine of the first 12 in the second set as they won 25-11.Â
Down 23-15 in the fourth, the Tigers rallied to win four straight points in an attempt to stave off defeat, but UAM held on for the win.Â
