A late-first half goal gave Newman a short-lived lead Saturday, but David Stankovic's two goals gave Ouachita Baptist a 2-1 win at Kluck Field on Senior Day. Stankovic scored in the 46th and 85th minutes to complete the comeback.

The Jets scored the game's first goal on a penalty kick 58 seconds before halftime, but that lead would be short-lived. Stankovic's first goal came 41 seconds after the start of the second half, as he took a through ball from Collier Byrd and beat the keeper to the left side of the goal.

After nearly 40 minutes of stalemate, Stankovic again found the back of the net as he was played through by Ebon Jordan with 5:50 left to play. The Tigers fended off late opportunities by the Jets and created some danger of their own over the final five minutes to even their overall record to 3-3 on the year.
