ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's soccer team capped a 2-0 week with a 1-0 win over Christian Brothers on Saturday at home.
The Tigers (2-1-1) and the Bucs (2-2) went scoreless in the first half, and would have done the same in the second half if not for a penalty by the Bucs at 48:51 mark right in front of the goal to give the Tigers a penalty kick.
The victim of the foul was
Josilyn Kispert, but the penalty kick went to the team's leading scorer, senior
Jaymee Dotson, who scored on the PK for her second goal of the season and 16th goal of her OBU career.
The Bucs outshot 14-9 in the match, including an 8-5 advantage on goal.
Ouachita is back in action on Thursday, September 16 at home against UT-Tyler. Kickoff is at 4 p.m. at Kluck Field.
