HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – The Ouachita Volleyball team concluded its season-opening tournament in Alabama with a 3-0 loss to Emmanuel this past Saturday.
Senior
Rileigh Fielder was responsible for 9.5 points for the Tigers (0-3) in the loss. The Little Rock native posted seven kills, one block solo, one block assist, and 11 digs.
Also leading the Tigers were
Emily Low with seven kills and one block assist, and
Karli Ferguson with six kills and a match-high hitting percentage of .417.
The Lions (1-2) out of the Conference Carolinas were led by Aleksandra Hamuda with 13 kills and a percentage of .278.
Final game scores in the match were 25-22, 25-23, and 25-18.
The Tigers are at home for the first time of the season this Wednesday, September 8. First serve is set for 4 p.m. inside the Sturgis Physical Educational Center.
