NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – The Ouachita Baptist University men's swimming and diving team put the finishing touches on a perfect week with a 181-78 road win over Loyola-New Orleans. It was the highest point total for Ouachita in a duel meet since 2016.
"The team swam pretty good considering the long bus ride on Friday," said Ouachita Head Coach
Steven Bostick. "Loyola was a great host and with the pool being on the fifth floor of the building it was an exciting venue… We've got to do better on some of the details and figure out how to swim fast even after a tough week of practice. All in all, we're excited to be 2-0 and pick up the road wins. We're hoping for a big crowd next week for homecoming against top ten opponent Oklahoma Christian."
The Tigersharks earned wins in nine of 14 events, highlighted by five events with Ouachita representing at least the top three spots.
