ARKADELPHIA – Week eight of the 2022 football season has the fourth-ranked Ouachita Baptist University Tigers taking on the Southern Arkansas University Muleriders this Saturday, October 22 in the Murphy USA Classic in El Dorado.

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. Tailgating activities, including live music and entertainment, are set to begin at 11 a.m. on the grounds of the stadium and nearby fifth street in El Dorado.

The game will be broadcast live on the Ouachita Football Radio Network on affiliate stations across the state of Arkansas. SAU will provide live video coverage and live stats. Links can be found at www.OBUtigers.com/coverage.

General admission tickets will be available for $7.

This year marks the fifth time Ouachita has competed in the Murphy USA Classic and the fourth time against SAU. The Tigers are 3-1 in the event and 2-1 against SAU.

Ouachita is coming off a 41-7 win over Arkansas-Monticello this past Saturday at home to move the team to 7-0 for the just the fifth time in program history. The Tigers are ranked as high as No. 3 nationally this week.

SAU enters the game at 3-4 overall following a 49-33 win on the road last Saturday over Arkansas Tech.
