ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University and Northwestern Oklahoma State University women's soccer teams battled to a scoreless draw on Saturday at Kluck Field.
It was Senior Day for Ouachita, as
Jaymee Dotson,
Jamie Fowler,
Gracen Turner, and
Ashlyn Lynch were honored prior to the game.
The Tigers were limited to just two shots in the first half, neither of which were on target. Meanwhile, the Rangers came up with four shots on goal, all saved by
Michele Snow.
Ouachita controlled the majority of the second half with a 13-2 advantage in total shots in the final 45 minutes.
The Tigers remain just one point behind first-place Southwestern Oklahoma State in the Great American Conference standings with two games remaining in the regular season. The Tigers have their final home game of the season on Tuesday, October 25 against Harding before traveling to East Central on Thursday.
