Tiger Volleyball defeated the Lee Flames in straight sets for their second sweep of the day and finish the Harding Invitational a perfect 3-0, only losing two sets throughout the weekend.
The set scores were 25-22, 25-17 and 25-21. The Tigers have now won seven straight sets going back to the fifth set on the match against William-Jewel Friday night.
The Tigers out hit the Flames .276 to .195 and were led by
Emily Adams and
Haley Fairchild who both had nine kills. The duo also hit .444 and .549 respectively, with only one attack error made between them.
Courtney Hanson once again led the floor in assists with 33, her now tenth overall and fifth-straight 30-plus assist performance of the season. Hanson also led with two aces, increasing her team-leading total to 13.
Lexie Castillow led the way defensively for Ouachita with 14 digs and also recorded an ace.Â
The Tigers look to continue their streak on Tuesday when back at home against Harding in a GAC matchup.
