SEARCY, Arkansas – The Ouachita women's soccer team took on Harding for the second time of the season on Wednesday, and the result was similar to the first time around with a scoreless draw.
The two squads tied 1-1 on September 20 in Arkadelphia. Ouachita moves to 6-1-5 overall and 3-1-2 in Great American Conference games. Harding moves to 3-5-5 and 1-2-4.
The final stats of the game were just about as even as the final score. The Bisons held a 10-9 advantage in total shots, but the Tigers led 2-1 in shots on goal.
The Tigers had a scoring chance at in the 36th minute and again in the 80th minute, both resulting in saves by the HU goalkeeper. Harding's only scoring chance came in the 65th minute, but Ouachita
Michele Snow was there for her only save of the game.
Snow earned her sixth shutout of the season and 22nd of her career with her full 90 minutes in the goal on Wednesday.
Ouachita is back in Arkadelphia on Saturday to take on East Central. Kickoff is set for noon at Kluck Field.
