ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita men's soccer team fell to Northeastern State on Saturday at home by a final score of 3-0.
The Tigers honored their five seniors prior to the game, which are
Joseph Lattier,
Hagan Sanchez,
Marshall Prather,
Ebon Jordan, and
Eli Jenkins. All five are winding down their collegiate careers this season.
As for Saturday's game, the Riverhawks defense held Ouachita (0-10-3, 0-5-2 GAC/MIAA) to just two total shots and just one shot on frame. Meanwhile, NSU (5-3-3, 3-2-1) had 24 total shots and eight on frame.
All three of NSU's goals came in the second half, finding the net in the 60th, 62nd, and 89th minutes, respectively.
The Tigers have their longest road trip of the season coming up, traveling to Hays, Kansas on Thursday, October 19 to take on Fort Hays State before heading over to Wichita on Saturday to take on Newman.
