NO. 14 TIGERS SET FOR FINAL REGULAR SEASON ROAD TRIP

ARKADELPHIA – The 14th-ranked Ouachita Baptist University football team hits the road for the final time of the regular season to face off against Southern Nazarene University this Thursday night in Bethany, Oklahoma.

Thursday's kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at the SNU Football Stadium. The game can be heard on the Ouachita Football Network on radio affiliates across the state of Arkansas starting at 5 p.m. with the pregame show. Links to live streaming video, live audio, and live statistics can be accessed at www.OBUtigers.com/coverage.

Ouachita enters Thursday's game against SNU with a record of 7-1 following its 31-24 victory over Arkansas Tech this past Saturday at home. With the win, Ouachita secured the 28th season in program history with at least seven wins.

The Tigers are ranked No. 14 in this week's American Football Coaches Association Top 25 Poll and No. 18 by D2Football.com. Ouachita is also one of 10 teams to be included this week in the initial NCAA regional rankings. This week, all teams under consideration for the playoffs were listed. Next week, the NCAA will release its first numerical region rankings. Ouachita is seeking its sixth D2 playoff appearance this year and will likely need to win all three remaining regular season games to earn a spot.

Southern Nazarene snapped a three-game losing streak this past Saturday with a 27-13 road win over East Central to give the Crimson Storm an even 4-4 record heading into Thursday's game.

The Tigers are looking to remain undefeated against the Crimson Storm with a 9-0 record in the series that began in 2013 when SNU joined the Great American Conference.

The Ouachita-SNU game is the only Thursday night contest in the GAC this week. The other five games in the league kick off at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
