ARKADELPHIA – Following its week three victory, the Ouachita Baptist University football team has moved up in the national rankings to No. 4 in this week's American Football Coaches Association Top 25 Poll.

The Tigers (3-0) were No. 5 last week before earning a 52-24 victory over Southern Arkansas this past Saturday at home, which was the team's seventh straight win over SAU.

Ouachita is now one of three undefeated teams in the Great American Conference and one of 34 at the NCAA Division II level.

With this week's ranking, the Tigers have now been ranked in the AFCA Top 25 for 55 consecutive polls and in the top 10 for 13 consecutive polls, reaching as high as No. 3 in the final weeks of the 2022 season.

Also this week, Ouachita is ranked No. 7 in the NCAA.com D2 Power Rankings and No. 9 in the D2Football.com Top 25.

The Tigers are one of three teams representing the GAC in this week's national rankings. Harding (3-0) is ranked No. 10 in the AFCA poll and No. 11 by D2Football.com. Henderson State (3-0) is No. 20 and No. 23, respectively.

Ouachita hits the road this Saturday, September 23 to take on Arkansas-Monticello (2-1). Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Convoy Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium.
