SEARCY, Arkansas – The Ouachita Volleyball team had its three-game win streak come to an end Thursday night as the Tigers dropped their match to the Harding Bisons by a score of 3-1 on the road.
The Tigers' first conference road match of the season started with Harding taking the first set after jumping out to an early lead. Ouachita was able to cut into the Bisons' lead near the end, but it was not enough, and Harding took set one 25-21.
The second set was a different story. This time, the Tigers and Bisons stayed tight, with neither team claiming much of a lead until halfway through the set. The Tigers were able to hold on and take down the Bisons by a score of 25-20 and tie the match up 1-1.
The third and fourth sets both began with both teams keeping things close before Harding was able to pull away late, taking set number three by a score of 25-18, and set four 25-17, winning the match 3-1.
This was the first time that the Tigers won a set against the Bisons in Searcy since 2015.
