This week's game is Ouachita's third and final Thursday night game of the season. The Tigers opened the season on back-to-back Thursdays with wins over Southwestern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State, respectively.

Six more wins have followed for the Tigers with an 8-0 record heading into Thursday night's game against SNU. Ouachita is one of six remaining unbeaten teams at the NCAA Division II level. The Tigers have matched a program-best with a No. 3 ranking in this week's American Football Coaches Association top 25 poll following a 38-7 road win over Arkansas Tech this past Saturday.

Southern Nazarene is the only team in the Great American Conference without a win this season. The Crimson Storm dropped to 0-8 following a 31-30 loss to East Central this past Saturday at home. ECU made a 54-yard field goal with seven seconds remaining in regulation for the game-winner.

Ouachita looks to remain perfect in the all-time series against SNU. The Tigers are 10-0 all-time against the Crimson Storm, including last year's 49-28 road win in Bethany, Oklahoma.
