WARRENSBURG, Missouri – The Ouachita women's soccer team wrapped up the 2024 season on Friday with a 2-0 loss to No. 1 seed and regional host Central Missouri in the first round of the NCAA Division II Tournament.
Both teams pitched a shutout in the first half, but the Jennies offensive attack came through for two scores in the second, both coming within a three-minute span starting in the 54th minute.
UCM ended with a commanding 20-1 lead in total shots. The Tigers were held without a shot on goal in the game and only two corner kicks.
Taylor Hapgood played the full 90 minutes in goal and recorded a new career high of 10 saves.
The Tigers finish the season at 8-8-4 overall, highlighted by the Great American Conference regular season championship and tournament title.
