NO. 9 TIGERS SET EYES ON SHAWNEE

ARKADELPHIA – The ninth-ranked Ouachita Baptist University football team is set for its fifth road game of the 2024 season this Saturday, November 9 against Oklahoma Baptist University.

Saturday's kickoff is set for 2 p.m. in Shawnee at Crain Family Stadium. The game can be heard on the Ouachita Football Radio Network originating at KARN-FM 102.9 in Little Rock and available on 10 different stations throughout the state of Arkansas. A list of stations can be found at www.OBUtigers.com/broadcast. Oklahoma Baptist will provide live video and live stats. Links can be found at www.OBUtigers.com/coverage.

Ouachita is looking to rebound from its first loss of the season, an 18-17 setback to Southern Nazarene last Thursday night at home. The Tigers are 8-1, tied for first in the Great American Conference, No. 5 in this week's NCAA Super Region 3 rankings, and No. 9 in the latest American Football Coaches Association Top 25 poll.

Oklahoma Baptist is 2-7 this season following its most recent game, a 24-20 road loss to Arkansas-Monticello this past Saturday.

Saturday's game marks the 14th all-time meeting between the two squads. Ouachita leads 10-2-1 all-time and has won nine games in a row over the Bison, including last year's 55-14 victory in Arkadelphia at Cliff Harris Stadium. The Tigers are undefeated at 8-0 against the Bison since Oklahoma Baptist joined the NCAA and GAC in 2015.
