ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University volleyball team is set to open the 2024 season on Friday, September 6 at home as part of the Reddie-Tiger Volleyball Invitational.
Ouachita's schedule for the annual invitational has the Tigers playing a total of four matches over the weekend: two on Friday and two on Saturday. Friday's matches will be against Missouri S&T at noon and Mississippi College at 6 p.m. in the Sturgis Physical Education Center. Saturday's contests will see the Tigers face off against the University of Montevallo at noon and McKendree University at 5:30 p.m. in SPEC.
This weekend's invitational features eight teams from across the region, with each team playing two matches per day. Ouachita will host four matches each day at the Sturgis Physical Education Center. Henderson State will also host four matches per day at the Duke Wells Center with matches starting at 10 a.m. on both days at each location.
Tickets for the 2024 Reddie-Tiger Invitational will be available at Ouachita for cash-only purchase. A one-day pass is $15, and a two-day pass is $20. Passes bought at Ouachita will be good for games played across the street at Henderson State's Duke Wells Center.
The Tigers enter the season picked fifth in the 2024 GAC Preseason Coaches Poll and will have a total of 13 members of last year's squad back for this season, including 2023 GAC Setter of the year

Leah Gardner.
Live stats will be available for all games played at Ouachita's facility, and all Ouachita Volleyball games will be livestreamed for free on YouTube via the Ouachita Sports Digital Network.
