ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita men's cross country team opened the 2024 season with a clean sweep of the Bob Gravett Invitational, winning the event by 43 points Saturday morning.
Tigers were the first 10 scoring runners across the line, earning the event sweep in the 8k race.
Cade Swindle took first place points by a margin of almost nine seconds with a time of 26:14.98.

18 of the first 20 runners across the finish line were Tigers.
Ouachita placed first overall in the men's 8k with the minimum of 15 points. Arkansas-Rich Mountain was next with 58 points and Hendrix University was third with 73 points.
It was a big win to start the season for Ouachita.The Tigers will be back in action in two weeks competing in the 2024 University of West Florida Invitational on Friday, September 20 in Pensacola, Florida.
