ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University football team is back in action this Saturday, October 4 against Oklahoma Baptist University for Homecoming.
Kickoff this Saturday is set for noon at Cliff Harris Stadium and Kluck-Benson Field. General admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the stadium starting at 9 a.m. Tickets purchased online can be claimed at the will call window.
The game can be heard on the Ouachita Football Radio Network originating at KARN-FM 102.9 in Little Rock and available on stations throughout the state of Arkansas. A list of stations can be found at

Both Ouachita and Oklahoma Baptist enter Saturday's game with a 1-3 record. The Tigers most recently lost on the road to second-ranked Harding 24-7 last Saturday in Searcy. The Bison also lost on the road last week, falling 38-24 to Southwestern Oklahoma State.
It is Homecoming for Ouachita with numerous activities going on throughout the week, including the popular Tiger Tunes shows as well as events for prospective students and events catered to returning alumni and friends.
As far as the football action goes, the Tigers have won six straight on Homecoming and are 12-2 in Homecoming games since 2010. Last year on Homecoming, Ouachita shut out East Central 40-0.
This is the 15th all-time meeting between the Tigers and Bison in football. Ouachita leads the series 11-2-1 and carries a 10-game winning streak over the Bison, including last year's 55-0 win in Shawnee in week 10.
