ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep over Lane College on Monday night at home in the final non-conference match of the 2025 season.
Final game scores were 25-8, 25-16, and 25-15. The Tigers improve to 15-3, while the Dragons fall to 2-16.
Ouachita hit a dominant .429 as a team in the first set victory with 11 kills and only two errors on 21 swings. The Tigers also took advantage of eight Dragon errors in the opener.
The Tigers went deep into their bench for the second and third sets to put together a complete team effort. True freshman
Sophie Henry ended up with a match-high eight kills and a .385 hitting percentage.
Other offensive stat leaders for the Tigers included
Riley Braziel with seven kills and
Savannah Whitaker and
Madi Landry with four each.
Courtney Hanson and
Mack Bidwell split time at setter. Hanson finished with 14 assists. Bidwell turned in nine.
Kylie Kisgen paced the back row with 10 digs and added a match-high four service aces.
The Tigers are back in action this Thursday and Friday at home against Southwestern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
