TIGERS SET FOR HOME OPENER

ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University football team will play its first home game of the 2025 season this Saturday, September 13 when it welcomes Southeastern Oklahoma State University to Cliff Harris Stadium.

Saturday's kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission and can be purchased at the stadium starting at least two hours prior to kickoff. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at the will call window.

The game can be heard on the Ouachita Football Radio Network originating at KARN-FM 102.9 in Little Rock and available on stations throughout the state of Arkansas. A list of stations can be found at www.OBUtigers.com/broadcast. The Ouachita Sports Digital Network will broadcast the game for free on YouTube. Links to live video, live audio, and live stats can be found at www.OBUtigers.com/coverage.

The Tigers are looking to bounce back from a 24-22 loss to East Central last Thursday on the road in the 2025 season opener. Southeastern brings momentum to Arkadelphia following its 44-13 victory over Arkansas-Monticello at home last Thursday night.

Saturday's meeting is the 61st all-time between the Tigers and Savage Storm in football. Ouachita holds the all-time series advantage 35-21-4. Since the two squads became charter members of the GAC, Ouachita is 10-3 against Southeastern. Last season, the Tigers beat the Savage Storm 25-9 in Durant in week five.

Ouachita is 49-11 overall at home since the facility was rebuilt as Cliff Harris Stadium in 2014. The Tigers are 10-0 in home openers during that stretch. Counting the pre-Cliff Harris Stadium seasons, the Tigers carry a streak of 17 consecutive wins in home openers.
