ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita men's and women's swimming & diving teams a part of 709 teams representing 414 institutions across the nation with Scholar All-America status for the Fall 2025 semester.

The honors were announced on Tuesday of this week by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). To qualify for the honor, each team was required to post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester, reflecting a sustained commitment to academic excellence alongside competitive achievement.

The Ouachita women's team ranked 25th in the nation with a team GPA of 3.59 last semester. The Tigershark men made the top 50.

Both teams were originally scheduled to dual cross-street rival Henderson State this Friday, but inclement weather in the forecast has pushed that conference matchup to next Friday, January 30 still at Ouachita's Waggoner Pool.
