RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas - Ouachita women's soccer players Patience English and Sahara Adams were named Great American Conference Players of the Week on Tuesday.

English, a sophomore forward/defender, was named Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Southern Nazarene last week. The Decatur, Texas native played 25 minutes in the lone match last week, scoring her second goal of the season.

Adams, a junior defender, played the full 90 minutes in the Tigers win over SNU. Anchoring the defense, the Bolivar, Missouri native contributed to the defensive efforts that held their opponents to seven shots, two on-target, with no goals allowed.

The Tigers hit the road for a two-game road swing in the Sooner State. They will face Northwestern Oklahoma State on Wednesday, October 22 at 3 p.m. and Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday, October 24 at 1 p.m.
