O'FALLON, Illinois – The Ouachita women's tennis team battled hard on the road at McKendree but dropped a 6-1 decision on Saturday night.
The Tigers got a doubles win at No. 1 from the tandem of
Alice Kubler and
Natalia Zamora Caprirolo, but the Bearcats won the other two doubles matchups to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
Despite close battles on multiple courts, the Tigers were only able to come away with one win in singles with
Anastasia Myachina winning a tight three-set affair on court three.
The Tigers are back at home for their next three matches. Up next is Northwest Missouri State next Saturday, February 28.
