ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's tennis team was back in action on Monday at home resulting a 4-0 loss to 15th-ranked Mississippi College.
The Choctaws (8-0) remained unbeaten on the season starting with a sweep through doubles with Ouachita's duo of
Marlee Bledsoe and
Jenny Pfaefflin putting up a good fight on court three but eventually falling 6-4.
In singles, MC took points on courts three, four, and five to clinch the match and leave close matches unfinished on courts one and two, including third-set action on court one with Ouachita's
Natalia Zamora Caprirolo and MC's Rocio Martinez Azcarraga.
Ouachita is back in action this Saturday, March 7 at home against Collin College.
