ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita women's tennis team wrapped up the regular season on Thursday across the street in a 5-2 loss to Henderson State.
The Reddies swept through doubles to take a 1-0 lead into singles, where
Jenny Pfaefflin came up with a two-set win on court six, and
Alice Kubler came back from losing her first set on court three to blank her HSU counterpart 6-0 in the second set. Kubler won 10-8 in the tiebreaker.
The Tigers have earned the No. 5 seed in the Great American Conference Championship Tournament, which is set for May 1-3 in Bentonville. Ouachita faces No. 4 seed Arkansas Tech in the first round on May 1 at 11 a.m.
