ARKADELPHIA – Representatives from Ouachita Baptist University will participate in the 2026 Great American Conference Football Media Day on Tuesday, July 21 in Hot Springs.

28th-year head coach Todd Knight will be joined by three returning All-GAC performers: senior receiver and return specialist Carter McElhany, junior linebacker Justin Crutchmer, and sophomore quarterback Tre Nichols.

The Tigers will join the other five GAC teams from Arkansas at the Oaklawn Events Center in Hot Springs on Tuesday. GAC Commissioner Will Prewitt will start the event at 12:45 p.m. The event will be streamed live on the GAC YouTube page.

Ouachita's segment is scheduled to begin at 1:40 p.m. Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas are ahead of the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. and 1:20 p.m., respectively. Following Ouachita is Arkansas Tech at 2 p.m., Henderson State at 2:20 p.m., and Harding at 2:40 p.m.

The league will conduct a similar media day for the six Oklahoma schools on Wednesday, July 22 at FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
