RICHMOND, Virginia – The Ouachita men's swimming & diving team has earned the No. 24 spot in the 2026-27 preseason national rankings by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.
The Tigersharks are one meet into the season having competed at the All-Arkansas Invitational last weekend in Little Rock.
Ouachita returns multiple top performers from last year's squad that finished in a close second in the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference and qualified seven athletes to compete at NCAA nationals.
Among the top returners is
Stefan Duca, who earned All-America honors last year in the 200 backstroke. Also back are nationals participants and all-conference honorees
Elijah Donaldson,
Gabriel Palomino and
Carson Powers. Other all-conference performers back this season include
Vince Pal,
David Ware,
Ethan Sparks,
Lucas Cagle,
Colton Martinez,
Mikhail Lymar, and
Caleb Guthrie.
