Biography

2017-18 (Sophomore): Was named to the All-GAC First Team after a stellar sophomore season. Played at the No. 1-3 singles position throughout the season and finished with a record of 8-9. Kaplun's biggest win came in a straight sets victory against David Szeri of No.11 Southwest Baptist. In doubles play Kaplun compiled a record of 6-11, his biggest victory came against No.25 Georgia College with doubles partner Nair Adi. He also was named to the All-Ouachita Athletic Team.

2016-2017 (Freshman): Dan put in a great inaugural season for the Tigers compliling a record of 7-14 in singles matchups. He was named the Champion of the Ouachita Tennis tournament. He added a doubles record of 10-8 to help his Ouachita team.

Prior to Ouachita: Kaplun played for Club Bigua de Villa Biarritz. He represented Uruguay in 2014 and 2016 in the Junior Davis Cup. He also was in El Martes 22 de enero de 2019. 

Personal: Dan Kaplun is the son of Mauricio and Marion Kaplun... He was born on 1/8/97...hsi Ouachita major is Kinesiology and has a minor in Biology.
