Tanner Rockwell returns for his second season as the assistant coach at Ouachita Baptist University. He helped coach the Tigers to a 20-28 record in the 2018-2019 season.

Rockwell came to Ouachita after spending the 2017 season as the head coach of Arkansas Baptist College. During his playing days at UALR, Rockwell was a First-Team All-Sun Belt selection his senior year and a Second-Team selection after his junior season. Prior to UALR, Rockwell played two seasons at Arkansas Baptist College. Rockwell was an All-Region selection in back-to-back season's and a Gold Glove winner in 2012. Rockwell left Arkansas Baptist as the All-Time leader in hits, doubles, homeruns and runs scored.
