Ben Long enters his second year with the Tigers as a graduate assistant. Long will coach running backs.
He is a graduate of Howard Payne University, as of December 2016, where he earned his BA in Kinesiology. At HPU, Long played Offensive and Defensive Line for two seasons (2013-2014). In high school, Long was named to the All-Conference and All-County teams after the 2010 season.Â
Before coming to Ouachita, long worked as a student assistant at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX from 2015-2016 where he helped coach the linebackers. Long is a native of Ocala, FL, and graduated from St. John Lutheran High School.
