Payton Morris

Payton Morris enters his second year for the Tigers as the Running Backs Coach.

In 2019, Morris’ top running back, Brockton Brown topped the Ouachita offense with 1,104 rushing yards and a Great American Conference record of 25 rushing touchdowns in a single season, in addition to earning the 2019-2020 Darren McFadden Award Winner for best collegiate running back in the state of Arkansas.

Morris is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas where he earned his BSE in Kinesiology and Physical Education. While at UCA, Morris served as an undergraduate assistant for two seasons where he worked as the Assistant Running Backs Coach.

Morris is a native of Lavaca, Arkansas where he graduated high school before attending UCA.
