2023-24: Finished the year ranked #29 in D2 at 157 according to WrestleStat... Second Team All-MIAA at 157... Finished fourth at Super Regionals... Posted a 31-8 overall record and a 13-6 record against D2 competition... Went 3-2 in MIAA duals... Lost his first bout of the season against the top-ranked wrestler in D2 and then posted 12 consecutive victories, including three wins over D1 wrestlers and four pins... Also had a nine-bout win streak... Finished the year with seven wins by fall, four wins by tech fall, six wins by major decision, and 14 wins by decision... 4-0 and first place at the Dan Harris Open... 4-0 at the Viking Open, which led to MIAA Wrestler of the Week honors... 4-0 for first place at the Drury Open... Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2022-23: Posted an overall record of 23-12 and a D2 record of 9-7... Advanced to the semifinals of the Viking Open... Finished third at the Norsemen Open... Finished fifth at the NCAA Super Regionals... Named to GLVC All-Academic Team.

2021-22: Posted an overall record of 11-9 and a D2 record of 3-6... Fifth place finish in the season opener at the Little Rock Trojan Open... Won the 149 consolation bracket at the Drury Open... Posted a season-high six-match winning streak from Drury Open into dual against NEO... Named to the GLVC All-Academic Team... Named to the Ouachita Dean's List in the Spring 2022 semester.

2020-21: Posted an overall record of 5-5 and a D2 record of 2-5... Earned his first collegiate win by major decision over Kentucky Wesleyan's Trevor South (1/13)... Picked up his first career pin against Huntingdon's Derrick Lancero (1/28)... Won by 15-0 tech fall against Williams Baptist's Alzarius Boykins.

HIGH SCHOOL: Went 33-3 during his career... 2020 OSSAA 4A-145 State Second Place... 2019 OSSAA 4A-138 State Fourth Place... 2018 OSSAA 4A-132 State Third Place... 2017 OSSAA 4A-106 State Third Place... Also competed in soccer, football, and track and field.

PERSONAL: Son of Cris and Regina Otero... Three siblings - Brianna, Brayden, and Robert. Robert is a former wrestler at Ouachita... Graduated from Ouachita in May of 2024 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and is currently pursuing a master's degree in exercise science... Born December 7, 2001.
