Tiger Soccer Suffers Tough Loss to Nationally Ranked Midwestern State

Box Score WICHITA FALLS, Tex.- The Ouachita men's soccer team (4-5) might have faced their toughest opponent of the season when they traveled to Wichita Falls, Texas on Sunday to take on No. 13 Midwestern State. The Tigers offense was almost completely shut down in the contest, and they suffered a tough 6-0 loss.

Ouachita's lone shot on goal came from Payam Pourjavad, who took two shots in the contest. Jared Carlin took the only other shot of the game for the Tigers, which was not on goal.

Midwestern scored two goals in the first half, but came out in the second half and netted four more, putting the Tigers away and sealing the victory.

Ouachita will look to rebound on Friday, when they travel to Dallas, Texas for a neutral site match-up against Incarnate Word.
