ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers return home to face the Boll Weevils of Arkansas-Monticello this Saturday, November 9, 2013. Kickoff is scheduled at 1:00 pm.
The Tigers are looking to rebound from a tough loss last week in Magnolia to SAU. It was the first and only road loss of the 2013 season, as the Tigers play their last two games at home.
Turnovers and missed redzone opportunities proved to be costly for a banged-up Tiger team that played without several key starters on both sides of the football last week. The Tigers will need to take care of the football this week as UAM leads the GAC 24 takeaways through nine games.
The ground game will be key for Ouachita on Saturday. The Weevils are giving up 209.1 rushing yards per game while the Tigers are averaging 180.2 yards per game.
