EDMOND, Okla.- Just a day after traveling to Oklahoma City and downing the University of Central Oklahoma in a dual, the No. 20 Ouachita Tigers took on the Bronchos of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. The Tigers fought valiantly, but a plethora of nationally ranked participants were too much for them to overcome in the end, and they fell by a final team score of 26-13.
 
Garret Evans continued to dominate in the 125 lb weight class, taking a 2-1 decision over UCO's Ryan Brooks.
 
Anthony Melillo wasn't as fortunate as Evans, falling in a 10-2 major decision to the Bronchos' Casy Rowell in the 133 lb division.
 
In the 141 lb weight class, Josh Myers posted a big win over Central Oklahoma's Trison Graham, pinning him at the 3:57 mark of the match.
 
UCO responded with a pin of their own in the 149 lb class though, when Jordan Basks pinned Ouachita's Sawyer Smith and retook the team score lead.
 
In the 157 lb weight class, Cory Dauphin of UCO defeated Bobby Williams in an 8-1 decision victory, stretching the UCO team lead to 13-9.
 
In the 165 lb weight class, the Bronchos' Zach Aylor defeated Dexter Carter in a 4-1 decision victory.
 
Kelly Henderson continued pouring it on for Central Oklahoma in the 174 lb division, as he recorded a 6-2 decision over Aaron Butler and gave the Bronchos a 19-9 lead in the team score.
 
Dallas Smith recorded a huge major decision victory over UCO's Tanner Keck in a 10-1 final, giving the Tigers their last victory of the day.
 
Seth Calvert fought hard, but unfortunately dropped a 6-1 decision to UCO's Znick Ferrell in the 197 lb weight class, while Taylor Poe dropped the final match of the day in the 285 lb weight class to the Bronchos' Cory Dauphin, closing out a 26-13 win for Central Oklahoma.
 
The Tigers will compete in their last dual of the regular season on Friday, February 2, when they travel to St. Louis, Missouri to take on the Saints of Maryville University at 7 p.m.
