Ouachita Basketball Teams Forced Into Tight Spot Due to Inclement Weather

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- Early Thursday morning, it was announced that the Ouachita Tigers and Lady Tigers would be playing a day later than initially scheduled at Northwestern Oklahoma due to snow that came down on Wednesday. Now the game has been pushed back even further, with the teams rescheduling to Sunday due to another wave of heavy snowfall Thursday morning.

The teams will be forced to play on back-to-back days, with games at Southwestern Oklahoma in Weatherford, Oklahoma on Saturday and then again on Sunday at Northwestern Oklahoma.

On Saturday, the Lady Tigers will tip-off at 2, with the Tigers tipping off immediately after the conclusion of that game.

Sunday's start times are going to be a bit strange for GAC teams and fans, with the women tipping off at 4 p.m. against Northwestern and the men slated for a 6 p.m. tip-off.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers have both clinched berths in the GAC tournament already, with both jockeying for seeding in a pair of tight conference races.
