Tigers and Bisons end scoreless after 110 minutes

Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – After 90 minutes of regular time, and 20 minutes of overtime, the Ouachita Tigers and Harding Bisons ended their Tuesday-afternoon match in a 0-0 tie.
 
In the 107th minute of the match, Harding's Cole Walker was awarded a penalty kick that would give the Bisons a one-point lead with less than four minutes to play. The kick missed wide, however, keeping the Tigers alive.
 
The match featured a total of 33 shots, 15 coming from the Tigers. Five of Ouachita's shots were on target, including two from the Tigers' leading scorer, Tinashe Chigede.
 
Harding's Thomas Shults recorded five saves while holding the Tigers scoreless.
 
Ouachita's keeper, David Henley, finished the 110-minute match with eight saves, as he posted his second complete-game shutout of the season.
 
The Tigers (6-6-2) are 5-1-2 in their last eight matches. Their next match will be Monday, Oct. 27, against Southern Nazarene University at Wesley and Debbie Kluck Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
