The Lady Tigers took their first double-digit lead on a 7-2 run that put Ouachita ahead 22-10 with 1:28 to go in the first quarter. After a possession in which Ouachita missed four shots but grabbed four offensive rebounds led to a layup by Breanna Harris, the Lady Tigers entered the second quarter with a 26-13 lead.

Bullard scored the first points of the quarter once again in the second, knocking down a jumper on a fast break. She then added a three-pointer on Ouachita's next possession and Halley Hill followed with a three-pointer on Ouachita's next possession. The three from Hill sparked a 17-0 run for the Lady Tigers that put Ouachita ahead 48-18 at the half.
