CLEVELAND. Miss. - The Ouachita Tigers women's swimming and diving team wrapped up a week-long road trip on Saturday where they faced off against Delta State University at the Delta State Aquatic Center in Cleveland, Mississippi. The Tigers were coming off a previous meet in Pensacola, Florida versus the University of West Florida. While the Tigers came up short in the team scores, there were several individual performances of note.

Against West Florida, Claire Bristow earned a first place finish in the 200 Free with a time of 1:59.78, a full second ahead of the second-place finisher from West Florida. Bristow also finished second in the 500 Free with a time of 5:20.81. Alyssa Stubblefield took first in the 50 Free with a time of 25.48. Stubblefield followed that up with a second place finish in the 100 Butterfly (1:03.80). The Tigers 200 Free Relay Team were just edged out by West Florida, missing a first place finish by tenths of a second. Karen Wray, Stubblefield, Elizabeth Willis, and Bristow finished second with a time of 1:41.83.

Earlier today in Mississippi, Bristow took first place in the 500 Free (5:20.34), saving almost five-tenths of a second off her time earlier in the week. Sierra Kinworthy placed third in the event. Bristow also placed second in the 200 Free versus Delta State. Elizabeth Willis and Rachel Ewart finished second and third respectively in the 50 Backstroke. Karen Wray, Stubblefield and Tatiane Pacheco took the second through fourth spots in the 50 Free.

The Tigers will travel to Little Rock on January 16 ,where they'll face off against the Little Rock Trojans. The meet is set to begin at 11:00 a.m.
