ARKADELPHIA, Ark. –The Ouachita Tigers' men's soccer team defeated Southern Nazarene at home by a final score of 1-0.
Tinashe Chigede scored the game's only goal. The Tigers' record improves to 6-7 on the season and 2-3 in the Great American Conference.
Ouachita's only goal came in the 20th minute. Southern Nazarene surrendered a penalty, and Chigede calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net. It was Chidege's fifth goal of the season. Ouachita held Southern Nazarene scoreless for the remainder of the game and held on to win by a score of 1-0.
The Tigers dominated the game throughout. They accumulated 25 shots in the game, while only conceding eight. Chigede led the Tigers with eight shots, three of which were on target.

The Tigers' next game will be played on Oct. 17 against Northeastern State. The game will be played at Kluck Field and kick-off is at 3 p.m.
