ARKADELPHIA, Ark. –The Ouachita Tigers' men's soccer team won their final game of the season over Union by a final score of 1-0.
Tucker Johnston scored for his first goal of the season. The Senior Day win was the team's fifth straight and improves the Tigers' record to 10-7 overall.
Ouachita opened the scoring early in the game. Senior
Logan Hampton crossed a ball low onto the head of a diving Johnston in the sixth minute. The ball went into the back of the net to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. The Tigers held that lead for the rest of the game thanks to a sound defensive showing and six saves from
Jarrod Collins.
Offensively, the Tigers accrued 11 shots, six of which were on goal.
Sewell Yost led the team with three shots, while Johnston and
Colten Clark had two shots each.

The Tigers' next game will be against Harding on Friday, Nov. 4 in the Great American Conference tournament. The match is slated to begin at 11:00 a.m.
